Nicole Schrader, LISW
Nicole is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), and earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Iowa. She has been working in the wellness field since 2006. As an E-RYT, Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, she integrates her background as a yoga and meditation teacher into her clinical work, offering clients a holistic and grounded approach.
As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman, Nicole is especially passionate about supporting individuals with ADHD. She has also lived abroad and values her work with immigrant communities. A proud social worker, she keeps equity and justice at the center of her practice. Nicole’s style is direct, compassionate, and humanistic—often eclectic, with humor woven in. She tailors each session to her clients’ needs, drawing from EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, somatic techniques, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Guided by her core value of lifelong learning, Nicole continually seeks new knowledge and tools to best serve those she works with. She provides therapy services to individuals and groups, 18 and older. In 2026, Nicole will be offering therapeutic ADHD assessments.
In her free time, Nicole is a proud full time single mother of two amazing neurosparkly kids. They enjoy crafting, being outside, reading banned books, watching movies & local theatre, traveling, and laughing as much as possible. Additionally, she enjoys creating mental health content, running DSM RAGE CLUB, teaching yoga and owning a wellness coaching business. As an advocate for de-centering the importance of romantic relationships, and promoting love in all spaces, Nicole is lucky to spend her free time with an amazing circle of inspiring, like-minded friends who promote equity, self-compassion and justice in her community.
